This is my go-to recipe for party appetizers. They’re always a hit at parties, and they’re so easy! I started out using a special recipe for the spreadable cheese, using cream cheese and various Italian seasonings, but um, have you tried Boursin? I absolutely prefer it, personally, but if you want to mix your own, you would start with cream cheese and mix in whatever seasonings you prefer. Add some cayenne red pepper for a yummy kick!
Roast Beef Pinwheels
Equipment
- Toothpicks
- Cling Wrap
Ingredients
- large flour tortillas
- soft, spreadable cheese (Boursin, or some sort of cream cheese)
- deli meat slices (I use roast beef)
- baby spinach
Instructions
- Spread the cheese on the tortillas.large flour tortillas, soft, spreadable cheese
- Add a layer of spinach and a layer of meat (leaving a couple inches uncovered on one side of the tortilla).deli meat slices, baby spinach
- Roll it up, starting on the side opposite the uncovered portion (so the cheese can stick to the outside of the tortilla).
- Wrap it in cling wrap, and refrigerate for at least an hour (to help the pinwheels retain their shape while slicing).
- When serving, unwrap and slice off the ends, then use toothpicks to hold the roll together while slicing.
