Now that the doctor has confirmed the pregnancy, and it’s a few days after period would have started (with no spotting!), I feel more confident that this thing is sticking. And now that bloating has gone down a bit, I’m also closer to my pre-luteal phase weight, which means I can start documenting my ‘bump’. So, of course, I took a picture to set a baseline for later, when the baby starts taking up noticeable space. This is me and my slightly less bloated belly!
As for symptoms, still have super tender breasts, still have constipation and bloating (which together account for all 5 pounds I’ve gained so far), and very slight nausea. Also having some shortness of breath, but that might just be due to me not being in shape anymore.. So I made sure to jog a bit today. Gotta start somewhere, right?
Also, set up my first ultrasound appointment today! It’ll be on August 5th, and I won’t have to leave work too early for it. I’m excited!
